Green Apple Sasive...

Green Apple Sasive is a side dish and you can have it with rice , chapati, poori , Dosa or even with  bajjis.( fried Items).

Things needed :

Green  Apple : 1
Mustard seeds : 1/2 Tea spoon.
Green chilly : 1
Coconut : 2 Table spoons.( fresh and grated).
Salt : To taste.
Curd : 1/2 cup.( 2  Tablespoons).
Oil : 1/2 Tea spoon.
Curry leaves : 2 to 4.

Method :

1. Wash and cut apple into small picesce.

2. Grate coconut and grind it with mustard seeds and green chilly. Use little oil to grind.

3. Add required salt and grind for a while. Remove from the mixi jar to a serving dish.
4. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves and ingh seasoning. Add 2 tablespoon of curd and mix it well.
5. Mix it well and serve with any main dish. Apple sasive can be served as one of the side dish.
Note :
Apple sasive can be eaten with chapatis, poori, plain rice and even any type of Masala rice.
Do not add much water since apple contain lots of water. If necessary add very little water.
Use of fresh coconut is a must. Use of fresh curd/yogurt adds to the taste. Use fresh fruit to get the best taste.

Raagi - Rava -Jolada ..Dosa....

Raagi, Rava and Jolada dosa can be prepared quickly and  it should be eaten  when it is hot. You can have this dosa for breakfast or as evening snack or for dinner too.
Things Needed :

Raagi Hittu : 1 Cup.
Jolada Hittu : 1/2  Cup.
Rava 1/4 cup.
Curd ( Yogurt ) : 2 Table spoons.
Salt : To taste.
Oil : 3 to 4 Table spoons.

Method :  Mix Raagi, Jolada hittu and rava together in a big bowl. Add curd and required water and salt. Mix it nicely and leave it for 10 to 15 minutes.
Keep a dosa pan on the fire. Heat and sprinkle oil . Mix dosa dough thoroughly and take a spoonful of dough and spread it round the pan and cover the dosa immediately. Cook for 30 seconds and remove the cover. Sprinkle another 1/2 spoon of oil on the top of the dosa and turn and cook the other side of the dosa. Cook for 10 seconds. Serve hot dosa with any desired chutney or chutney pudy or pickle. Put a spoon of ghee before serving.
Note : You can also add cut onions, green chilly and corinader leaves to the dosa dough and prepare spicy dosa. ( Remember to cut the onions very small). Can also add  fresh coconut to the dough. Must mix the dough each time while preparing the dosa. Dosa dough consistency should be like rava dosa consistency. Must cover the dosa immediately after pouring the dough or it may have while dots on the top .
Serves 2 to 3.( 6 to 8 dosas can be prepared).
